Emerging from the diverse music culture of San Diego, A City Serene has only just begun. Forming in the early summer months of 2008, the band is the product of the fallout of guitarist Kris Renfro, bassist Marc Koch, and drummer Mike Buxbaum's previous band. After acquiring the talents of vocalists Carly Baker and Xander Bourgeois, as well as guitarist Mike Sherman, A City Serene began constructing their unique sound: a perfectly blended formula of hard hitting riffs and aggressive screams, topped with melodic and catchy vocals.
