Why is this site going to be different?

Got Scene was started by touring musicians and will ALWAYS be run by touring musicians and the fans that support them. We know without a doubt what it's like to have random, EXPENSIVE stuff happen while you're on the road, leaving you stranded without money in places you aren't familiar with.

With the help of this site and music fans all around the U.S., you'll hopefully save a little money with fans letting you sleep at their homes and such, and you'll have something extra for when the unexpected disasters occur.

I still don't understand...

Here's the big picture. With your help, artists and fans alike will be entering tons information to help you on tour. All of the following (and more as we get suggestions) will be at your fingertips:

• Cheap places to eat (veggie and vegan options too)
• Cheap and FREE places to crash (fans houses or otherwise)
• Venue listings (and reviews!) if you're left without a show in Wherever, Georgia
• Gear listings to find good gear shops if you need to re-stock or something breaks
• Cheap gas and repair shops for when your 15-year-old band "bus" decides to breakdown on the interstate.

EVERYTHING will be searchable by city, state, zip code, and vicinity, and we are constantly improving upon the design and structure of the site. Have suggestions when we launch? TELL US!
